Principled Conservative

I support traditional values, limited government, individual freedom, and constitutional principles.  Having lived in California for 32 years, I watched freedoms be eroded and traditional family values fade away.  Our beloved bike trail to the beach became a multi-mile long homeless encampment;  the quality of public education declined significantly; and the community suffered tragedy and loss from an Islamic terror attack. When we moved here four years ago, the battle in California seemed hopeless.  Thankfully, Highland is full of great people who value faith, family and freedom. I will work to defend our freedoms and conservative principles.

Political Engagement

I have always been civic minded and engaged often with the City Council on various issues affecting our town. Here in Utah  I have served as a County delegate and on the Board of Utah Eagle Forum, promoting and defending conservative issues at our state legislative sessions.  I would be grateful for the opportunity to serve in government at the local level and keep Highland great!

Fiscal Responsibility

Fiscal Responsibility-  I believe in being a good steward of taxpayer money. Ensuring that the city can meet its obligations without excessive debt, prioritizing expenditures,  making sound financial decisions, and being fully transparent & accountable to citizens is important to me. Listening to concerns of citizens and working together with council members on this will be a priority.
